I am Lucy, the owner-operator of Hudson Valley Swim School in Woodbridge, VA, and I truly believe that swimming is a life skill everyone should have.

Although I grew up in a country along the coast, I still had a fear of being in water. Recognizing that fear inspired me to learn how to swim and eventually led to my passion for helping others gain confidence and safety in the water.

I was drawn to the Hudson Valley Swim program because it is designed for people of all ages—starting as young as six months—and for all ability levels. The program focuses on eliminating fear, building confidence, and developing strong swimming skills through personalized instruction in a supportive and welcoming environment.
